Basehor Development Review
Economic growth is driving development in Basehor, Kansas. To help the city, Affinis is providing development plan review for new plats and plans, as part of our on-call contract. In this role, we’re reviewing documents for conformance to city standards and regulations. Once the development documents have been through the review process, they are approved by the city.
When a development is approved, the developer is responsible for constructing public infrastructure. Another role we fill is full-time construction observation. We are on-site to monitor the contractor’s compliance with the approved plans and city standards. Since this infrastructure will be the city’s to maintain, our primary role is to be their advocate. The infrastructure our team has overseen includes, but is not limited to, grading, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, roadway, and waterline.
