College Boulevard Improvements

Pflumm Road to US-69, City of Overland Park, Kansas

On this project, Affinis worked with the City of Overland Park on widening this section of College Boulevard from a 4- to a 6-lane section. The 2-mile project included five signal modifications and a new signal. Our team completed a traffic model of the corridor analyzing the need for and location of additional signals. We also explored alternative intersection methods. The project included street lighting, city fiber-optic facilities, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) sidewalk ramp design, storm sewer evaluation and upgrades.
