Tony Roush, a member of the Affinis residential street and stormwater team, received the 2013 Schmitty Award, an honor given to an Affinis co-worker who demonstrates our core values daily.
In his role as a CADD Technician, Tony is a critical part of the design process of many projects. Tony also takes opportunities to share new software tips and tricks with the rest of the design team at Affinis. His collaborative approach to learning new technologies we need to master is greatly appreciated by his co-workers.
“Separate from his ‘duties’ Tony can always be counted on to help out a co-worker.” said Kristen Leathers. “I overheard one story where someone else dropped coffee grounds all over the kitchen floor, and Tony could have turned right around and left, but instead he jumped right in to help get things cleaned up.”
The award is named in honor and memory of Affinis co-worker Dale Schmidtberger, who passed away in 2003.
