Mark Nolte, a land surveyor at Affinis, was recently elected as the Chairman of the Land Survey Division of the Board for Architects, Professional Engineers, Professional Land Surveyors, and Professional Landscape Architects (APEPLSPLA). A natural fit, he formerly served as a member of the Land Surveying Division after being appointed to that role by Governor Parson in 2020.
“I’m honored to serve as chairman for APEPLSPLA’s Land Surveying Division. I admire the work the organization is doing to protect the public and am proud to assist in those efforts by upholding high survey standards,” said Nolte.
APEPLSPLA’s mission is to protect the inhabitants of the State of Missouri in the enjoyment of life, health, peace, and safety. They are also tasked with protecting residents’ property from damage or destruction through dangerous, dishonest, incompetent, or unlawful architectural, professional engineering, land surveying, or landscape architectural practice and to generally conserve the public welfare.
Mark brings more than 35 years of experience to this assignment. A graduate of the University of Missouri, he owned Nolte Land Surveying in Lafayette County from 1992 until 2013. He served six terms as the Lafayette County Land Surveyor before joining our team and is well qualified to serve in this new role. Congratulations Mark!
