With RCB replacements at three streets, we wanted to minimize detours for the residents by getting the crossings open as soon as possible.  We determined precast arch bridges were the optimal solution for two locations. We used segmental block retaining walls in key locations to stabilize eroding banks and improve the channel capacity. The walls are an attractive option and give residents usable yard space that’s easier to maintain.
