Structural
Bridge and structure safety are top of mind for many clients. We understand the importance of complete and constructible plans that contribute to a successful project from design through construction completion. Our clients trust that our designs will ultimately protect the community by providing safe bridges and structures that people use to travel.
Over the years, we’ve gained extensive experience working with dams and levees. We understand how to integrate the structural, geotechnical, and hydraulic design disciplines required for a successful project, all while considering impacts on current and future operation and maintenance. Our dedicated team applies that expertise to projects of all sizes. Our goal is always to reduce risk and create a resilient structure, protecting our clients’ investment and the surrounding community.

Traffic
Great traffic engineering is in the details. Whether we are using comprehensive decision matrices or simple reports, we can clearly illustrate the advantages and disadvantages of proposed solutions to our clients. Developing concepts and analyzing alternatives to create cost-effective designs is something we do very well.
Our traffic team understands having the right data is just the beginning. With our studies and designs, we look beyond the current project, using a holistic approach to select the right intersection control, geometry, signage, pavement markings, traffic control, and construction phasing. This allows us to minimize construction impact and maximize our clients’ budgets as we engineer safe, efficient solutions.

Roadway Engineering
You have a responsibility to support economic development, increase safety, and improve quality of life for your community. Whether you are tackling a residential street or a highway, we help consider the entire site, selecting strategies that cause the least amount of disruption and are the most cost-effective.
Our experienced roadway engineers have designed residential streets, thoroughfares, arterials and highways. A senior engineer leads each of our projects, and every member of the team is equipped to handle questions and provide support. Our quality assurance and control procedures ensure our bid documents clearly and accurately convey the project design, allowing contractors to be more competitive with their bids.

Stormwater
Stormwater projects often grow from nuisance calls from residents, but the solutions typically reach beyond a couple of neighbors’ yards. Our approach to managing stormwater looks at the larger picture – not just the specific problem at hand. This helps us deliver quality design products that are constructible, maintainable, and budget conscious. We take our role to help our clients move their communities forward seriously by providing services that make lasting impacts to their investments.
We have experience retrofitting systems to fix an existing issue and designing new improvements to replace aging infrastructure. Our work reduces flooding, improves water quality, and boosts aesthetics. Partnering closely with municipalities, counties, and the United States Army Corps of Engineers, we help each entity protect their stakeholders by designing reliable solutions.

Survey/UAS
Having the right tools helps us collect accurate data in a timely manner, but that’s just the beginning. Our survey team is regularly recognized for their thoroughness. We believe a design is only as great as the data behind it and excel at capturing the existing conditions of a project site and understanding which elements should be included in every survey. Our comprehensive approach results in a reliable set of plans and a reduction in design conflicts and issues during construction.
Our survey team is often the first face of a project. This responsibility is not something we take lightly. We start by notifying residents we’ll be in their neighborhood and then, move as efficiently as possible. With the capability to exchange data and messages instantly between the field and office, we’re able to maximize our time spent onsite and quickly confirm we’re gathering the necessary information.
