2023 Street Improvement Project (Concrete)

The City of Overland Park, KS continually strives to improve the quality of their infrastructure. As part of their 2023 Street Improvement Project (Concrete), they wanted to replace deteriorating sidewalk, curb, and ADA ramps in six neighborhoods. They also planned to remove and rebuild a parking lot in Indian Valley Park.

Given the project’s large scale, the City asked our construction engineering team to provide construction inspection services. We oversaw the installation of sidewalk, curb, and ADA ramps, as well as concrete testing. We also measured and tracked quantities to provide monthly pay apps. One of the most important aspects was acting as liaison to residents. In this role, we kept citizens informed and handled their concerns or questions.
