Madison Avenue and MacArthur Intersection

The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) wanted to address increased traffic flow and safety concerns at the Madison Avenue and MacArthur Drive intersection. They asked our team to guide them in finding the best solution.

Our survey group was the first on-site, conducting topographic and right-of-way surveys. Although the area is characterized by high volumes of traffic, our team needed to access the lanes to collect data. We did this by working overnight and implementing a traffic control plan that strategically closed lanes, while still allowing traffic to flow.

Along with these services, we performed utility coordination. We partnered with the utilities to determine where existing facilities were located. Then, we surveyed the area, validating their markings in the field.
