Pavement Management Program
For the City of Leavenworth’s Pavement Management Program, our team functions as an extension of their staff. Annually, we perform pavement ratings on 20 percent of the streets and then evaluate the deterioration and distresses in the field. This information is then input into the city’s system, which is used to generate a prioritized list of projects.
When the list is generated, we evaluate the streets in the field to determine the appropriate maintenance methods. This data helps the city choose projects. Upon selection, our team begins the design process. Because the city uses its staff to complete some tasks, we work directly with them to identify applicable projects and coordinate them with the program’s construction schedule. We also provide construction inspection services with KDOT-certified inspectors.
