A Letter to Clients: Public Infrastructure, COVID-19, and Affinis

By and large, our clients are public servants. They work for local, state, and federal governments and make tough decisions year-round to best spend taxpayer dollars and protect the health and safety of our communities. We know those skills have been needed over the last few weeks, as our communities responded to COVID-19, and they will continue to be put to the test as the weeks press on. Public infrastructure is, indeed, an essential service.
The Affinis team remains committed to supporting our communities. We are passionate about public infrastructure and the role it plays in quality of life. From the biggest levee to the shortest length of sidewalk – those projects keep the public safe and healthy. Many of our clients have stated that progress on most public projects will continue, as long as it is safe to do so. We are here to support you along the way.
For the health and safety of our co-workers and in compliance with our local stay-at-home orders, we have shifted to a remote workforce. Everyone who can work from home is. Those who work in the field (always its own form of remote work) are practicing safe social distancing and good hygiene. We will continue to monitor the situation and follow the guidelines recommended.
In the meantime, we will be here providing the level of service you expect from Affinis, helping to move communities forward.
