Moving Edgerton Forward

The City of Edgerton, Kansas is focused on moving their community forward through economic development. Over the years, they’ve done this through strategic partnerships and infrastructure investment. In 2018, Kubota, an international manufacturer, approached the city about expanding their warehouses. Based on the city’s projections, they knew the existing gravel roadways wouldn’t be sufficient.

They wanted to transform Homestead Lane and 207th Street, from I-35 to Waverly Road into a 4-lane, divided, concrete arterial. Affinis Corp was selected as the lead civil engineering firm, as part of the Miles Excavating design-build team.
